Natural pool

Our campsite has a natural swimming pool, a so-called biotope facility, fed with fresh spring water directly from the mountains. The water is kept clean in a natural way - through a sand and plant filter in which the plants grow in a separate area. Here you can discover, experience and enjoy while immersing yourself in this unique natural experience.

The swimming area is 1.60 to 1.80 metres deep and measures 26 × 7 metres. The floor is flat and ensures safe swimming. For younger guests, there is a children's pool with a maximum water depth of 50 cm (12 × 7 metres). Here, the fresh spring water flows as a small waterfall, which is particularly popular with children. The floor of the children's pool is made of river gravel, which provides additional fun. And a special highlight: tadpoles and small salamanders in the plant filter - an exciting experience for little nature explorers!

Tip for children: Don't forget your water shoes!

Depending on the weather, the water temperature in summer is between 19 and 24 °C. Our natural pool has no chlorine or salt - 100 % pure natural water. To preserve the tranquillity of the biotope, the pool is closed after 18:00.

Sanitary facilities

Our campsite offers comfortable, well-equipped sanitary facilities with everything you need - so that you can discover, experience and enjoy your stay to the full. The spacious showers are located in the centre under the restaurant and are practically arranged so that there is always enough space. Even the youngest guests are catered for: there is a special shower and bath area for families with young children, ideal for the little ones.

The water is heated sustainably using solar panels, which you can see behind the restaurant terrace. This means you can enjoy pleasantly warm water in an environmentally friendly way - both for the showers and for the restaurant.

In addition to the showers, there are toilets and a practical washing-up area under the restaurant. A second sanitary building is located in the centre of the campsite. There you will find toilets, a washing-up area and chemical toilets at the back of the building. This means you are well catered for everywhere on the campsite - clean, comfortable and practical.

Camping shop

The camping shop at Alpenferienpark Reisach is cosy and clearly laid out and also functions as the reception. Here you will find all the basic groceries, complemented by delicious regional specialities from Reisach and the surrounding area - ideal if you have forgotten something or simply want to enjoy the culinary highlights of the region.

For larger purchases, you can visit a supermarket branch in Kirchbach (5 km). There is even more choice in Hermagor or Kötschach-Mauthen, both just 15 km away, with several large supermarkets.

You can also get plenty of inspiration for excursions in the surrounding area at our reception. Thanks to our collaboration with the local tourist information centre, we offer numerous brochures, flyers and tips for the most beautiful attractions and sights. You can also purchase the Carinthia Card from us - this gives you discounts on many activities and attractions in the region.

Children & teenagers

Although there is no traditional entertainment programme at Alpenferienpark Reisach, the children never get bored. They are outside all day, romping, playing and discovering nature - just as they please. Here, the little ones can discover, experience and enjoy the world in their own way while playing in the midst of nature.

There is plenty to experience for our youngest guests. They can explore nature on their own and experience little adventures. We are particularly proud of our new nature playground with numerous climbing opportunities and water games, which invites them to spend creative hours full of movement. The facility also offers

• A beach volleyball court

Here, children can play freely, discover nature and make new friends.
